WHAT THEY SAY
Bonus SEIKO 5 SPORTS Automatic Strap Watch SNZG15J1 Mens
Love this watch, well built and good reserve electricity, it has not ended yet, mine is a little fast but is not a big concern.
This is a great access into automatic wrist watches, the Seiko activity has a long history of consistency.
Great watch that came promptly. It exceeded my prospects. Fit and end was beautiful. Well packaged. The watch helps to keep excellent time right out of the box.
A hi-tech, 23 jewels, automatic movement identifies the Seiko Auto Sports and makes it its classic position. This analog watch is supported by 23 jewels; the hands are luminous and silver-toned while baton hour-markers add extra awareness. The watch also shows date and resists water for up to 100 feet. An ideal watch out for a round of beach volleyball, the silver-toned stainless steel hyperlink bracelet will maintain it set up.
SEIKO 5 – the meaning of the “5” An excellent marketer had the theory in the 70ies: to be always a SEIKO 5, the watch has to have the next 5 (five) features (thus the name SEIKO 5):
- Water resistant,
- Shock resistant,
Please be aware that some SEIKO 5’s are actually SEIKO 4’s, if the “Day” function is omitted, then the Caliber 7S25 can be used. Really the only difference to the normally found 7S26 is the omission of your day wheel.
Also re-issues of SEIKO 5 Activities often use the 7S36 caliber. Again the 7S36 is similar to the most popular 7S26, yet it features 23 Jewels instead of the 21 Jewels in the 7S26.
Please note that all these movements beat at a rate of 21’600 bph (beats each hour) or 6 bps (beats per second).
As a comparison, an ETA 2824-2 beats at 28’800 bph or 8 bps. A Miyota 82xx beats at 21’600 bph.
Why do I speak about these three motions?
Because they’re found in probably 80% of all inexpensive automatic wrist watches. A market show that is huge, yet challenged nowadays (2006) by a growing talk about of inexpensive China Made computerized movements An programmed watch (also called a self-winding watch) is a mechanised watch, typically with a balance steering wheel escapement, whose mainspring is wound by the movement of the wearer’s arm, instead of needing to be wound personally every day.
Whereas a quartz watch is driven by electricity, a mechanical watch is run by the mainspring which must be rewound for the watch to keep time.
THE CASE AND CRYSTAL
For SNK followers who wish those watch instances were bigger, the put it off is finally over. The SNZG15 actions a powerful 42 mm and is also 12 mm dense. Which means its sizes are bigger than the old-style men’s wrist watches, but is noticeably smaller than the outrageously huge designer watches you commonly see today.
The top case comes with a brushed end, as well as refined surface finish on the sides. The crystal is Seiko’s own hardlex crystal, which is incredibly scratch resistant. It’s also water-resistant up to 100 meters.
The dial design seems a lttle bit busy, although it does have a rather nice arrangement which makes everything still readable. The exterior diamond ring shows the dominant numbered markings, while an inner ring provides military services time. Your day and time info is highlighted at the 3 o’clock position.
The hour and minute hands are large with a pointy end, while the second hand is merely a good sliver. The dark-colored dial offsets the hands and markers beautifully. The lume is great, as it glows brightly for up to 7 or 8 hours.
The automatic mechanised 7S36 watch movement is accurate and reliable, with variances ranging from -20 mere seconds to +40 mere seconds a day. It doesn’t quite compare with the best Swiss and Japanese automatic movements, but also for an entry level watch it’s more than sufficient.
It provides a whip rate of 21600 BPH, and that means you do not get the distinctive ticking from a quartz watch that can be annoying at night when everything’s tranquil. There is a 40-hour power reserve which means you may take it off during the night and never have to worry that it will stop working.
This is perhaps the weakest link in the Seiko 5 SNZG15, and it’s really the reason why the SNZG15 is a few dollars cheaper than the Seiko 5 SNZG13. The 22 mm nylon strap can feel a lttle bit too hard initially, and you will need some time to break it in. It’ll do the job well enough eventually though.
For a few, the nylon looks quite cheap so it doesn’t match the noiseless appeal of the Seiko 5 SNZG15. But with NATO or leather straps you can certainly buy to get and online, it’ll look much better.
PROS & CONS Bonus SEIKO 5 SPORTS Automatic Strap Watch SNZG15J1 Mens
Basically, what we have here is an basic level military services field watch, and it’s really rugged operation and design are excellent.
The dial provides info quickly, and even at night there is no problem telling the time. The hands are brightly luminous at night, and it doesn’t fade for most hours.
The reliability is sufficient for most people.
The “provenance” (history), is nice, as it dates back to a youthful era when designer watches such as we were holding worn on the field of struggle.
The size of the case is perfect for people that have bigger wrists, but even for typical wrists it doesn’t really look too big.
For the nylon strap downside, for some that it is nice enough to wear as is. But for the most part, people don’t buy the Seiko 5 SNZG15 for the strap. You can simply change the strap to NATO or leather and which should improve its look even more.
WHY I SHOP AT AMAZON
Bonus SEIKO 5 SPORTS Automatic Strap Watch SNZG15J1 Mens -I put lots of time and effort into choosing where you can shop. I have favorite stores for groceries. I have favorite stores for clothes. I’ve stores I detest. And, of course, there’s always online shopping.
Mostly, there’s just Amazon.
I find myself at Amazon.com almost every day — even when I’m not shopping, I might be exploring prices, reading reviews, updating my account or simply dreaming. There’s almost always something in my cart, just looking forward to grounds to officially place an order. It’s the internet version of windowpane shopping.
In the long run, I’m most likely to make my final purchase with Amazon anyhow. Listed below are 7 reasons why it’s become my go-to store:
After many years of researching prices and coming back to Amazon, I’ve finally recognized there are a few things they’ll always offer at the cheapest price. In fact, I have a couple of things I’ll only buy on Amazon. In addition they offer covered price complements, where they’ll lower the purchase price on items others are providing on sale.

I remember when Amazon offered just books, videos, and music. Now, will there be anything they don’t really sell? I’ve bought gadgets, toys and games, groceries, clothes, and even furniture. It truly is the main one place I can go to order anything we need.
I’ve only had to deal with their returns a few times, but it’s a very simple process. Fill out the proper execution through your consideration, print out the RMA and shipping label, then mail the item back. They’ll send a replacement or credit your bank account as soon as it arrives. A breeze.
I take advantage of my wishlist not simply to provide ideas for birthdays & vacations, but it addittionally helps me keep track of things I want to buy when it suits into our budget. This might be one of my favorite reasons for having Amazon. Several items, like groceries and diapers, can be purchased as a registration. They’ll ship the merchandise to your house at regular intervals, on your schedule at the existing price — and present you an extra 15% off!
Here’s another favorite feature — when you preorder era books, films or music, you get the cheapest possible price between the day you order and the day it is released.
