WHAT THEY SAY
Bonuses SEIKO 5 SPORTS Automatic Strap Watch SNZG15J1 Mens
Love this watch, well built and respectable reserve electricity, it hasn’t halted yet, mine is just a little fast however, not a big issue.
That is a great access into automatic watches, the Seiko activity has an extended history of stability.
Great watch that came on time. It exceeded my expectations. Fit and carry out was beautiful. Well packaged. The watch continues excellent time right from the box.
A hi-tech, 23 jewels, automatic movement defines the Seiko Automatic Sports and earns it its classic position. This analog watch is guaranteed by 23 jewels; the hands are luminous and silver-toned while baton hour-markers add extra awareness. The watch also shows time frame and resists water for up to 100 feet. An ideal watch out for a circular of beach volleyball, the silver-toned stainless steel link bracelet will keep it set up.
SEIKO 5 – this is of the “5” A great marketer had the idea in the 70ies: to be always a SEIKO 5, the watch has to have the next 5 (five) features (thus the name SEIKO 5):
- Water resistant,
- Shock resistant,
Please note that some SEIKO 5’s are actually SEIKO 4’s, if the “Day” function is omitted, then the Caliber 7S25 can be used. Really the only difference to the normally found 7S26 is the omission of the day wheel.
Also re-issues of SEIKO 5 Athletics often use the 7S36 caliber. Again the 7S36 is similar to the most popular 7S26, yet it features 23 Jewels instead of the 21 Jewels in the 7S26.
Please note that these movements defeat for a price of 21’600 bph (beats per hour) or 6 bps (beats per second).
As a comparability, an ETA 2824-2 beats at 28’800 bph or 8 bps. A Miyota 82xx beats at 21’600 bph.
Why should i point out these three moves?
Because they are within probably 80% of most inexpensive automatic wrist watches. A market show that is huge, yet challenged these days (2006) by an increasing share of inexpensive China Made programmed movements An automated watch (also called a self-winding watch) is a mechanical watch, typically with an equilibrium wheel escapement, whose mainspring is wound by the action of the wearer’s arm, rather than needing to be wound personally every day.
Whereas a quartz watch is powered by electricity, a mechanised watch is driven by a mainspring which must be rewound for the watch to keep time.
THE CASE AND CRYSTAL
For SNK enthusiasts who want those watch instances were bigger, the put it off is finally over. The SNZG15 steps a powerful 42 mm which is 12 mm thick. That means its dimensions are bigger than the old-style men’s wristwatches, but is noticeably smaller than the outrageously huge watches you commonly see today.
The top circumstance includes a brushed carry out, as well as refined finish off on the sides. The crystal is Seiko’s own hardlex crystal, which is extremely scratch resistant. It’s also water resistant up to 100 meters.
The dial design seems a little busy, although it does have a fairly nice arrangement that makes everything still readable. The outer diamond ring shows the visible numbered markings, while an inner ring provides armed forces time. The day and time info is presented at the 3 o’clock position.
The hour and minute hands are significant with a pointy end, while the second hand is merely a nice sliver. The black dial offsets the hands and markers very well. The lume is great, as it glows brightly for 7 or 8 hours.
The automatic mechanical 7S36 watch movement is appropriate and reliable, with variances ranging from -20 seconds to +40 seconds a day. It doesn’t quite equate to the best Swiss and Japanese automated movements, but also for an entry level watch it’s more than sufficient.
It provides a defeat rate of 21600 BPH, so you don’t get the distinct ticking from a quartz watch that may be annoying during the night when everything’s quiet. There is a 40-hour electricity reserve so you can take it off at night without having to worry that it will stop working.
This is possibly the weakest link in the Seiko 5 SNZG15, and it’s really the key reason why the SNZG15 is a few us dollars cheaper than the Seiko 5 SNZG13. The 22 mm nylon strap can feel somewhat too hard initially, and you will need some time to break it in. It will do the job sufficiently eventually though.
For a few, the nylon looks quite cheap so it doesn’t match the peaceful selling point of the Seiko 5 SNZG15. But with NATO or leather straps you can simply buy in stores and online, it will look much better.
PROS & CONS Bonuses SEIKO 5 SPORTS Automatic Strap Watch SNZG15J1 Mens
Basically, what we have here is an basic level military field watch, and it’s rugged features and design are great.
The dial provides info easily, and even during the night there is no problem telling the time. The hands are brightly luminous in the dark, and it doesn’t fade for most hours.
The accuracy is sufficient for most people.
The “provenance” (background), is nice, as it goes back to an earlier era when wristwatches such as these were worn on the field of battle.
The size of the case is perfect for people that have bigger wrists, but even for typical wrists it doesn’t really look too large.
As for the nylon strap downside, for some that it is nice enough to wear as is. But also for the most part, people don’t choose the Seiko 5 SNZG15 for the strap. You can simply change the strap to NATO or leather and which should improve its look even more.
WHY I SHOP AT AMAZON
Bonuses SEIKO 5 SPORTS Automatic Strap Watch SNZG15J1 Mens -I put a lot of time and effort into choosing where to shop. I’ve favorite stores for groceries. I’ve favorite stores for clothes. I have stores I detest. And, of course, there’s always online shopping.
Largely, there’s just Amazon.
I find myself at Amazon.com nearly every day — even though I’m not shopping, I might be researching prices, reading reviews, upgrading my account or just dreaming. There’s practically always something in my cart, just waiting for grounds to officially place an order. It’s the internet version of windows shopping.
In the long run, I’m probably to make my final purchase with Amazon in any case. Listed below are 7 reasons why it’s become my go-to store:
After years of researching prices and coming back to Amazon, I’ve finally understood there are a few things they’ll always offer at the lowest price. In fact, I have a couple of things I’ll only buy on Amazon. They also offer concealed price matches, where they’ll lower the price on items others are providing on sale.
Super Saver Shipment is my favorite. With a low lowest purchase of $25, I don’t believe I’ve ever paid for a shipment. It’s fun to acquire plans arriving on my doorstep without paying a penny for the service.
I remember when Amazon offered just literature, movies, and music. Now, is there anything they don’t really sell? I’ve bought gadgets, gadgets, groceries, clothes, and even furniture. It really is the one place I could go to order anything we need.
I’ve only got to deal with their returns a few times, but it’s a very simple process. Fill out the proper execution through your consideration, print the RMA and shipping label, then mail the item back. They’ll send an upgraded or credit your bank account as soon as it arrives. A breeze.
I use my wishlist not merely to provide ideas for birthdays & holidays, but it addittionally helps me keep track of things I want to buy when it meets into our budget. You are able to create public or private wishlists and prioritize the items in order of importance. So, when I have a Swagbucks gift idea card laying around or desire a filler item to attain free shipping, it is rather no problem finding something to increase my order.

This might be one of my favorite things about Amazon. Several items, like groceries and diapers, can be purchased as a registration. They’ll ship the merchandise to your dwelling at regular intervals, on your program at the existing price — and give you an extra 15% off!
Here’s another favorite feature — when you preorder new release books, movies or music, you get the lowest possible price between your day you order and the day it is released.
