WHAT THEY SAY
seiko 5 sports diameter
Love this watch, well built and good reserve electric power, it hasn’t stopped yet, mine is a little fast but not a big issue.
This is a great access into automatic wrist watches, the Seiko movements has an extended history of trustworthiness.
Great watch that came on time. It exceeded my objectives. Fit and end was beautiful. Well packaged. The watch maintains excellent time right out of the box.
A hi-tech, 23 jewels, programmed movement identifies the Seiko Auto Sports and earns it its common position. This analog watch is supported by 23 jewels; the hands are luminous and silver-toned while baton hour-markers add extra awareness. The watch also shows date and resists drinking water for 100 feet. The perfect watch out for a circular of beach volleyball, the silver-toned stainless steel link bracelet will keep it in place.
SEIKO 5 – the meaning of the “5” A great marketer had the idea in the 70ies: to be always a SEIKO 5, the watch really needs the next 5 (five) features (thus the name SEIKO 5):
- Water resistant,
- Shock resistant,
Please note that some SEIKO 5’s are actually SEIKO 4’s, if the “Day” function is omitted, then the Caliber 7S25 is used. The one difference to the normally found 7S26 is the omission of your day wheel.
Also re-issues of SEIKO 5 Sports often use the 7S36 caliber. Again the 7S36 is comparable to the most popular 7S26, yet it features 23 Jewels as opposed to the 21 Jewels in the 7S26.
Please note that all these movements beat for a price of 21’600 bph (beats per hour) or 6 bps (beats per second).
As a comparison, an ETA 2824-2 beats at 28’800 bph or 8 bps. A Miyota 82xx beats at 21’600 bph.
Why must i talk about these three activities?
Because they are found in probably 80% of most inexpensive automatic wrist watches. A market talk about that is huge, yet challenged nowadays (2006) by a growing show of inexpensive China Made computerized movements An computerized watch (also called a self-winding watch) is a mechanical watch, typically with a balance wheel escapement, whose mainspring is wound by the action of the wearer’s arm, rather than having to be wound physically every day.
Whereas a quartz watch is run by electricity, a mechanical watch is run by the mainspring which must be rewound for the watch to keep time.
THE CASE AND CRYSTAL
For SNK fans who wish those watch instances were bigger, the hold out is finally over. The SNZG15 actions a sturdy 42 mm and is 12 mm thick. That means its sizes are bigger than the old-style men’s watches, but is noticeably smaller than the outrageously huge watches you commonly see today.
The top case includes a brushed surface finish, as well as polished finish on the attributes. The crystal is Seiko’s own hardlex crystal, which is incredibly scratch resistant. It is also water resistant up to 100 meters.
The dial design seems a little busy, though it does have a fairly nice arrangement that makes everything still readable. The exterior diamond ring shows the dominant numbered markings, while an internal ring provides military time. Your day and time info is highlighted at the 3 o’clock position.
The hour and minute hands are substantive with a pointy end, while the second hand is just a nice sliver. The dark dial offsets the hands and markers effectively. The lume is excellent, as it glows brightly for 7 or 8 time.
The automatic mechanical 7S36 watch movement is accurate and reliable, with variances ranging from -20 secs to +40 secs a day. It doesn’t quite compare with the best Swiss and Japanese automated movements, but for an entry level watch it’s more than sufficient.
It provides a whip rate of 21600 BPH, which means you do not get the unique ticking from a quartz watch that can be annoying during the night when everything’s tranquil. There is a 40-hour electric power reserve so you may take it off at night without having to worry that it’ll stop working.
This is possibly the weakest link in the Seiko 5 SNZG15, and it’s really the reason why the SNZG15 is a few dollars cheaper than the Seiko 5 SNZG13. The 22 mm nylon strap can feel a lttle bit too hard initially, and you will need a while to break it in. It’ll get the job done sufficiently eventually though.
For some, the nylon looks quite cheap so that it doesn’t match the peaceful selling point of the Seiko 5 SNZG15. But with NATO or leather straps you may easily buy to get and online, it’ll look much better.
PROS & CONS seiko 5 sports diameter
Basically, what we’ve here is an entry level armed forces field watch, and it’s really rugged features and design are excellent.
The dial provides info readily, and even at night there’s no problem telling enough time. The hands are brightly luminous in the dark, and it doesn’t fade for most hours.
The reliability is good enough for most people.
The “provenance” (history), is nice, as it goes back to a youthful era when designer watches such as they were worn on the field of challenge.
The size of the truth is simply perfect for people that have bigger wrists, but even for standard wrists it doesn’t really look too large.
As for the nylon strap downside, for some that it is nice enough to wear as is. But for the most part, people don’t buy the Seiko 5 SNZG15 for the strap. You may easily change the strap to NATO or leather and which should improve its look even more.
WHY I SHOP AT AMAZON
seiko 5 sports diameter -I put lots of time and effort into choosing where you can shop. I have favorite stores for groceries. I’ve favorite stores for clothes. I’ve stores I detest. And, of course, there’s always online shopping.
Usually, there’s just Amazon.
I find myself at Amazon.com nearly every day — even when I’m not shopping, I might be exploring prices, reading reviews, updating my account or maybe dreaming. There’s nearly always something in my cart, just looking forward to grounds to officially place an order. It is the internet version of windowpane shopping.
In the long run, I’m probably to make my last purchase with Amazon anyway. Here are 7 reasons why it’s become my go-to store:
After years of researching prices and returning to Amazon, I’ve finally came to the realization there are just some things they’ll always offer at the cheapest price. In fact, I have a couple of things I’ll only buy on Amazon. They also offer hidden price matches, where they’ll lower the purchase price on items others are providing on sale.

Super Saver Shipping is my favorite. With a minimal least purchase of $25, I don’t think I’ve ever paid for a shipment. It’s fun to own deals arriving on my doorstep without paying a penny for the service.
I recall when Amazon offered just catalogs, films, and music. Now, will there be anything they don’t really sell? I’ve bought consumer electronics, gadgets, groceries, clothes, and even furniture. It truly is the main one place I could go to order anything we need.
I’ve only acquired to deal with their returns a few times, but it’s a simple process. Complete the form through your profile, print out the RMA and shipping and delivery label, then mail the item back. They’ll send a replacement or credit your bank account when it arrives. A breeze.
I use my wishlist not just to provide ideas for birthdays & holiday seasons, but it addittionally helps me keep track of things I want to buy when it meets into our budget. So, when I’ve a Swagbucks surprise card laying around or desire a filler item to attain free shipping, it is rather no problem finding something to increase my order.

This may be one of the best things about Amazon. Several items, like groceries and diapers, can be purchased as a registration. They’ll ship the product to your house at regular intervals, on your agenda at the existing price — and present you a supplementary 15% off!
